Power generation manufacturing community is challenged for finding viable solutions to achieve efficient, reliable and sustainable power generation, exploiting hydrogen-rich fuels, harnessing renewable energy sources and providing energy storage / spinning reserve capacity. The panel addresses current trends and challenges in manufacturing as well as repairing techniques for the land-based gas turbine industry, encompassing recent advances in additive manufacturing and high temperature materials, tackling the impact of non-conventional fuel combustion.
