Measuring and simulating flow, performance and noise in centrifugal compressors at near-surge operating conditions(GT2026-TOB-19-01) Authors: José Ramón Serrano, Roberto Navarro, Luis Miguel García-Cuevas, Jorge García-Tíscar CMT-Clean Mobility & Thermofluids, Universitat Politècnica de València, Valencia, Spain jrserran@mot.upv.es, ronagar1@mot.upv.es, luiga12@mot.upv.es, jorgarti@mot.upv.es Mihai Mihaescu Department of Engineering Mechanics, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden mihaescu@kth.se
The tutorial is mainly directed at researcher and R+D engineers dealing with the development, characterization and integration of small radial compressors, especially those that are intended to operate close to stall and surge conditions and/or in applications where noise emission can be an issue, such as turbochargers for passenger vehicle combustion engines, fuel cells and thermal management systems.
